Where to Stay
Nha Trang’s neighborhoods each offer a different pace, so where you base yourself shapes the whole trip.
Tran Phu Beachfront
Nha Trang’s main strip — direct beach access, sea views, and the highest concentration of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The trade-off is that it’s also the busiest, priciest, and noisiest part of town, especially along the main road.
City Center (around Biet Thu & the Night Market)
A block or two back from the beach, with easy walking access to both the shore and local eateries at lower prices than beachfront. Rooms here often lack a sea view, and the nightlife area can be loud into the evening.
Bac My An / Southern Nha Trang
Quieter and more residential, still an easy ride to the main beach and islands pier. There are fewer walkable dining options, so a motorbike or taxi is handy in the evening.
Vinh Hoa & the Northern Beaches
Calmer stretches of coastline away from the main tourist strip, good for a slower pace. It’s further from restaurants, nightlife, and the boat piers for island tours, so it’s best with your own transport.
Hon Tre Island (Vinpearl Area)
Resort-style, connected to the mainland by cable car, with beach and amusement-park access on the doorstep. It’s isolated from the city’s local restaurants and markets, so you’re largely confined to the resort ecosystem unless you commit to the cable car each way.
👉 Recommendation:
If you want to be close to restaurants and nightlife, base yourself on Tran Phu or in the City Center. If you’re after a quieter, resort-style stay, consider Hon Tre Island or the Northern Beaches.

Nha Trang invites you to enjoy its coastline responsibly.
Instead of rushing:
